14 Oct 2025 - Alfa Romeo unveils the new Tonale, marking a new chapter for the brand's global C-SUV model, which now offers a broader range of colours and trims. This latest evolution is a significant milestone in the journey of Tonale, the first C-SUV from Alfa Romeo, with targeted enhancements to amplify its sporty character and unmistakable Alfa Romeo design. Internationally acclaimed and embraced by customers, the new Tonale refines the brand’s core strengths, – perfect weight balance, typically Alfa Romeo driving dynamics, segment-leading technology and powertrain solutions – adding appeal to the distinctive design.
Design that inspires emotions
For Alfa Romeo, beauty is never abstract but the result of perfect harmony between proportions, sculpted surfaces, muscular lines, and technical purpose — a “necessary beauty” where every element defines character and function. The new Tonale embodies this philosophy, blending the brand’s storied design heritage with a modern reinterpretation of its timeless features. At the front, a new three-dimensional concave ‘Scudetto’ grille takes inspiration from the classic 33 Stradale and GT 2000, while the reimagined Trilobe enhances the car’s horizontal stance and confident presence.
The Tonale’s dynamic proportions are refined through a shorter front overhang and wider tracks, emphasizing balance and performance. Its profile is accentuated by new 19-inch Stile wheels that honor Alfa Romeo tradition and 20-inch Fori wheels that introduce a lighter, more technical look. Completing the updates are black and white Alfa Romeo emblems, in line with the Junior’s design direction, and black Tonale lettering on Veloce and Sport Speciale trims — all reinforcing the brand’s signature blend of heritage and innovation.
Interior
The interior of the new Tonale has been elevated with premium materials and refined craftsmanship, introducing fresh color and finish combinations such as the new ribbed ‘cannelloni’ seats in red leather with matching stitching or two-tone black and white Alcantara. Every detail reflects Alfa Romeo’s meticulous attention to design, with contrasting stitching on the dashboard, doors, and armrest that varies by seat choice, enhancing the cabin’s bespoke character.
Both leather and Alcantara interiors offer premium front seats with eight-way electric adjustment, four-way lumbar support, and heating and ventilation, ensuring exceptional comfort in all conditions. The heated steering wheel and washer nozzles add all-season practicality, while the redesigned center console features a new rotary gear selector for modern functionality.
