With an output of 700PS, the 5.2-litre, twin turbo V12 engine that sits under the scalloped bonnet of the V12 Vantage is almost 100PS more powerful than the next most potent engine ever fitted to our two-seat sports car. Backed by 753Nm of torque and with a deafening final roar to its soundtrack, thanks to its unique ultra-lightweight stainless steel exhaust system, while this breed of Aston Martin may be coming to an end, it is not going quietly.
A Faster, Smarter Transmission.
The eight speed ZF automatic transmission has been entirely recalibrated for V12 Vantage to offer even further refinement and an even faster, more dynamic shift quality. It directs power to the rear wheels through a mechanical locking differential not seen on any other Vantage. It never stops learning about the way it is being driven or the environment in which it is being driven, striving to ensure it is always in the most responsive gear, offering the most focused and connected driving experience.

Driving dynamics like no other. This Vantage is focused on delivering a dynamic driving experience that complements its unmistakable performance and sports car characteristics. V12 Vantage is equipped with a new adaptive damping suspension system, modifications to increase body stiffness and lateral stiffness, supported by a new steering calibration to improve driving dynamics, steering feel and deliver a sharper response for the ultimate connected drive.
BLISTERING PERFORMANCE, AN UNFORGETTABLE SOUNDTRACK
Aerodynamically Honed.
In the pursuit of potent performance, V12 Vantage has been aerodynamically optimised from end to end, teasing, forcing, and manipulating the airflow to ensure optimum cooling for the engine, transmission and brakes, as well as generating significant downforce. The full width front splitter and extended sills channel air under the body, while the reshaped diffuser and rear wing work together to contribute to produce 204kg of downforce at 200mph, enhancing grip and stability at speed.
Exploiting Immense Power.
When it comes to ensuring V12 Vantage can not only handle, but actively exploit its immense power, everything has been fine tuned. The track of the car has been widened front and rear to provide a broader footprint. All relevant suspension settings have been completely revised so the car is as capable and rewarding in corners as it is in a straight line, while Michelin Pilot 4S tyres on new 21inch wheels provide all the grip you could wish for on road, or even on track.
Braking Force.
Slowing a sports car with the potency of V12 Vantage is entrusted to Carbon Ceramic Brakes, for stopping power that’s matched to the V12's performance, those at the front measuring 410mm across and clamped by six piston calipers. These brakes ensure optimal retardation even in extended and extreme use, but also save a crucial 23kg of unsprung mass compared to a conventional iron brake arrangement.
