RESTON, Va., Feb. 24, 2025 – Audi of America launches the all-new A5, merging the A4 and A5 model lines nearly 30 years after the first A4. With a sharpened design, dynamic proportions, and standard quattro® all-wheel drive, the A5 enhances steering precision while balancing performance and comfort. A newly sculpted exterior and redesigned interior create a spacious feel, complemented by driver-centric Digital Stage displays.

Built on the new Premium Platform Combustion (PPC), the A5 and S5 grow in size, offering more space and features with the E³ 1.2 digital architecture. All models feature a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission with quattro® all-wheel drive. The A5’s 2.0L TFSI® engine delivers 268 hp and 295 lb-ft, while the S5’s 3.0L V6 produces 362 hp and 406 lb-ft.

Audi enhances lighting with eight customizable LED daytime running light signatures and second-gen digital OLED taillights on select trims. Pricing and specs are available on AudiUSA.com, with deliveries starting in Q2 2025.

Strongly sculpted and dynamic new exterior design
The redesigned A5 features a bold stance, longer wheelbase, and coupe-like rear with a striking lip spoiler. A seamless rear deck lid enhances style and function, offering up to 36.6 cubic feet of cargo space.

Its wide Singleframe grille, slim headlights, and aerodynamic air curtains create a sharp, modern look. The S model adds sculpted air intakes for a sportier edge. Inspired by the Audi Ur-Quattro, fender blisters and flush door handles improve aerodynamics. The rear boasts a deep-set light strip, darkened diffuser, and premium exhaust tips for a refined finish.

Aesthetics in motion: Elevating the digital light standard
With the new A5, Audi continues to advance its lighting design, technology and personalization. With eight customizable digital LED daytime running light signatures available on A5 Prestige, S5 Premium Plus and Prestige trim levels, and new customizable second-generation digital OLED taillights available on A5 and S5 Prestige models, Audi signals its ongoing evolution of lighting applications.

With around 60 segments per digital OLED panel, and six digital OLED panels at the rear of Prestige trims, the rear lighting palette is composed of more than 360 segments that provide striking three-dimensional shapes and new levels of lighting design. This technology permits dynamic lighting effects when locking or unlocking the vehicle, along with new levels of personalization and the aesthetics of movement in lighting.

Comfort and seamless technology highlight all-new interior design
The new Audi A5’s interior focuses on user needs, digital integration, spacious design, and intuitive operation. The Digital Stage features an 11.9-inch virtual cockpit and a 14.5-inch MMI touch display, with an optional 10.9-inch passenger screen. An LED interaction light provides visual cues for key functions.

The updated Head-Up Display (HUD) now offers configurable content and enhanced clarity, allowing adjustments without distraction. AI-powered voice control, activated by “Hey Audi,” manages functions like climate and navigation.

Optional Bang & Olufsen sound systems deliver up to 810 watts through 20 speakers, including headrest-integrated units for immersive audio and private calls.

More dynamic chassis and more precise steering
The new Audi A5 delivers precise handling and comfort, true to Audi DNA. Its steering is now more responsive, thanks to a direct-mounted rack and stiffer torsion bar, improving road feedback. Upgraded suspension components and increased front-axle camber enhance agility and steering precision.

A rear-biased anti-roll setup and brake torque vectoring improve cornering, working with ESC for a more neutral chassis. Standard steel suspension comes with 18-inch wheels, while the S5 features an S sport suspension with 19-inch wheels and optional 20-inch designs.

The S5 also offers adaptive S sport suspension with electronic damper control, providing distinct comfort, balanced, and dynamic driving modes. Ride height is lowered by 20mm for a sportier stance.

Deliveries to begin before end of Q2 2025
The all-new 2025 Audi A5 and S5 will arrive in U.S. dealerships before the second quarter of 2025, with MSRP pricing from $47,700 (not including $1,295 for destination and delivery).
