+++ Visit to the VR46 Motor Ranch and Misano racetrack forms exclusive highlight

BMW M celebrates Valentino Rossi’s 46th birthday with the exclusive BMW M4 CS Edition VR46. Limited to 46 units, this special edition—designed with Rossi’s input—comes in two variants: Sport and Style. His iconic number 46 appears on various parts of the car, including the CFRP roof and doors.

Owners will also enjoy a unique experience: a personal meeting with Rossi at his VR46 Motor Ranch in Tavullia and a BMW M Driving Experience at Misano.

BMW M has motorsport deeply rooted in its DNA. Valentino Rossi takes pride in being a BMW M works driver and sharing this passion. He is honored to have been involved in the design of the special VR46 edition from the start. Seeing the BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 on the road or track will be an exciting moment for him.

EXCLUSIVE BMW INVIDUAL PAINT FINISHES AND SPECIAL EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR DETAILS
The BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 stands out with two exclusive BMW Individual paint finishes that complement its exposed carbon elements. Inspired by Valentino Rossi’s signature style, the “Sport” variant features Marina Bay Blue metallic with a large “46” in Tanzanite Blue, while the “Style” variant has a Frozen Tanzanite Blue body with a Frozen Marina Bay Blue “46.” Yellow accents highlight the M kidney grille, forged wheels, brake calipers, and door frame strip. A hand-painted carbon-fibre roof showcases the VR46 logo and Rossi’s signature, with matching lettering on the tailgate.

Inside, the Night Blue interior features M Carbon bucket seats with Black/Night Blue Merino leather and Sao Paulo Yellow Alcantara accents. The VR46 logo appears on the headrests and door sills, while the Alcantara steering wheel has yellow contrast stitching and a centre marker. Each model’s carbon-fibre console bears a “1/46” badge, marking its exclusivity.

SIX-CYLINDER IN-LINE ENGINE WITH 405 KW/550 HP
The BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 is powered by a high-revving 3.0-litre inline-six engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology, delivering 550 hp. Enhanced turbo pressure (2.1 bar) and engine tuning enable a 0–100 km/h sprint in 3.4 seconds (3.1 seconds with rollout) and a top speed of 302 km/h. Power is managed through an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission, M xDrive AWD, and an Active M Differential.

A reinforced engine mount ensures direct power transmission, while a race-optimized oil and cooling system supports high revs and extreme lateral forces. The titanium rear silencer and dual-branch exhaust system with adjustable flaps provide an exhilarating M sound, with four matte black tailpipes.

MODEL-SPECIFIC TUNING FOR CHASSIS TECHNOLOGY AND CONTROL SYSTEMS
The BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 features a precisely tuned chassis for optimal performance, balance, and handling. Custom axle kinematics, wheel camber settings, dampers, auxiliary springs, and anti-roll bars enhance steering precision, cornering stability, and suspension response. The adaptive M suspension, M Servotronic steering with variable ratio, and integrated braking system are all uniquely calibrated for this model.

46 - THE TRADEMARK OF AN EXCEPTIONAL RACER
The number 46 has been Valentino Rossi’s signature throughout his legendary career, even more iconic than his nickname, "The Doctor." Inspired by his father, Graziano Rossi, he chose 46 and never switched to number 1, even as a world champion.

Rossi won his first world title in the 125cc class in 1997, followed by the 250cc title in 1999. He moved to the 500cc category in 2000, winning the championship in 2001. As MotoGP replaced 500cc, he dominated, securing four more titles by 2005 and two additional championships in 2008 and 2009. With nine world titles and 115 Grand Prix wins, he is among the greatest motorcycle racers in history. His VR46 brand is globally recognized, and his hometown, Tavullia, even lowered its speed limit to 46 km/h in his honor.

BMW M WORKS DRIVE SINCE THE START OF 2023
After retiring from motorcycle racing in 2021, Valentino Rossi shifted his focus to car racing, having previously tested Formula 1 cars and competed in rallies and endurance races. Since 2023, he has been a BMW M works driver, racing the BMW M4 GT3 in the GT World Challenge Europe and FIA World Endurance Championship, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In February 2025, he secured a runner-up finish in the Bathurst 12 Hour, the opening round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge.

EXCLUSIVE MEETING WITH VALENTINO ROSSI IN ITALY
Owners of the BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 receive an exclusive two-day experience in Italy. Day one includes a visit to the VR46 Motor Ranch in Tavullia, a barbecue, and a chance to chat with Valentino Rossi. On day two, they head to the Misano World Circuit for a special BMW M Driving Experience. Rossi, driving a BMW M4 GT3, won GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup races there in 2023 and 2024.
