RESTON, Va., Oct. 17, 2024 – The 2025 RS 6 Avant GT is the most powerful version to date, accelerating from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 190 mph. It features a 4.0L TFSI® biturbo V8 producing 621 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. Standard 16.5/14.6-inch carbon-ceramic brakes provide strong stopping power, while a three-way adjustable coilover suspension and quattro sport rear differential enhance handling. U.S. models come in Arkona White with a racing-themed livery, 22” Ibis White “Avus” wheels, redesigned aero elements, and carbon-fiber front fenders and hood.

Inside, the heritage inspired exterior is paired with an equally unique and expressive interior concept. Features unique to the RS 6 Avant GT include:
- Supportive RS sport seats wrapped in Valcona leather with an RS 6 GT logo, featuring red and copper double stitching, and complemented by Crimson Red seatbelts
- Floormats with “RS 6 GT” lettering
- Dinamica® covered dashboard, center console, and upper door panels
- Red and copper double stitching on the Alcantara steering wheel, sides of center console, center armrest and door armrests

All RS 6 Avant GT models are completed with a center-console badge displaying the RS 6 Avant GT logo and exclusive serialized numbering (“X / 660”) assuring the vehicle’s provenance and exclusivity as a future collectible.

APPRENTICE CONCEPT INSPIRATION
The Audi RS 6 Avant GT draws inspiration from the 2020 RS 6 GTO concept, created by twelve apprentices in collaboration with Audi Design and inspired by the iconic 1989 Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO race car. The RS 6 Avant GT features a high-gloss black Singleframe grille, redesigned carbon-fiber hood and fenders with integrated air outlets, and exclusive 22-inch 6-spoke wheels. Distinctive design elements include vertical blades in the front apron, a functional front splitter, and a motorsport-inspired double-wing “pass-through” rear spoiler. The removal of roof rails and the use of carbon-fiber components and ceramic brakes contribute to an 88-pound weight reduction, improving its 0-60 mph time by 0.1 seconds.

POWERED THROUGH QUATTRO®
The RS 6 Avant GT’s 4.0L biturbo TFSI® V8 delivers power to the quattro® all-wheel drive through an eight-speed Tiptronic gearbox with optimized shifts. Its locking center differential distributes power in a 40:60 front-to-rear ratio, adjusting torque up to 70% to the front or 85% to the rear if needed for traction. The reworked center differential enhances cornering and reduces understeer. A specially tuned quattro sport rear differential improves agility and rear bias in dynamic mode. Standard adjustable coilover suspension lowers the ride height by 10mm and includes higher spring rates, triple-adjustable dampers, and stiffer stabilizers. High-performance 285/30 R22 tires offer improved grip and precise handling.

SMALL-SERIES PRODUCTION
Unlike the regular RS 6 Avant, the limited-edition RS 6 Avant GT undergoes final assembly at the Böllinger Höfe facility, where models like the Audi R8 and RS e-tron GT are built. Located near Audi’s Neckarsulm site, this flexible facility allows seven experienced employees to hand-assemble each of the 660 models in three dedicated stations, taking an entire day for each car. All GT-specific features, including the hood, fenders, rocker panels, double wing, aprons, and adjustable coilover suspension, are carefully fitted by hand to ensure precision and exclusivity.

AVAILABILITY AND PRICING
The 2025 RS 6 Avant GT is limited to 85 units in the U.S. and will be available with a targeted release at the end 2024 at a base MSRP of $198,900.
