Did we mention, time flies! It's already a year and it is time to head back to Langkawi for the Royal Langkawi International Regatta 2017. This time to defend our title for the 3rd time running. Held from 9th to 14th January 2017, we would face the well-oiled and hardened sailors from all over the world.

This campaign though maybe the hardest we have faced yet. Our previous crew was not available and we have to start fresh with a new team. This time there are also fewer of us. While the boat has been prepped, we only have Sunday to setup, "gel" and get into the rhythm as everyone else is coming full throttle with their same crew from last season.

And the weather is not on our side too. Light winds are expected for the whole week. And our bigger yacht does not play nice without wind. We were slaughtered by the entire field the last time we were racing in light wind conditions. Imagine having a Lamborghini only running on 1 cylinder; and that gets slaughtered by a Vios running on all 4s.

Nevertheless, we will strive to do the best we can to defend the title. Please pray we will be able to make Malaysia proud.
