Powertrain
At the heart of the Fenomeno is a mid-mounted 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 paired with three electric motors, one integrated into the new eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The V12 alone delivers 835 CV at 9,250 rpm with 725 Nm of torque, setting a record for Lamborghini with over 128 CV per liter and a 9,500 rpm redline. Combined with the electric motors, total output reaches 1,080 CV, powered by a dedicated 7 kWh battery. The hybrid system ensures explosive performance with immediate torque delivery, making the Fenomeno one of the most powerful super sports cars ever built.
The drivetrain distributes power intelligently: the V12 drives the rear wheels, two axial-flow electric motors power the front axle, and the third motor supports the rear. Each front motor delivers 110 kW while weighing just 18.5 kg, enabling torque vectoring, regenerative braking, and superior handling. Together, the system produces unmatched efficiency, agility, and control, ensuring the Fenomeno delivers both raw power and precision dynamics in every driving mode.
Dual-clutch eight-speed gearbox
The Fenomeno uses a new eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox, mounted transversely behind the V12 to save space and house the lithium-ion battery in the central tunnel, keeping weight low and layout compact. It delivers lightning-fast shifts for peak performance, while the eighth gear improves efficiency and comfort. A highlight is the continuous downshift function, allowing multiple gears to drop instantly for perfect control under braking.
Above the gearbox sits the rear electric motor, serving as starter, generator, and power booster. It powers the front motors, drives the rear axle when needed, and enables zero-emission four-wheel drive. With a decoupling system, it shifts between P3 mode for full EV performance and P2 mode for recharging at low speeds or while stationary. This integration allows the Fenomeno to merge V12 power with efficient electric capability, reinforcing Lamborghini’s tradition of dynamic four-wheel drive in both hybrid and fully electric modes.
Brake system and suspension
The Fenomeno debuts a bespoke braking system engineered to handle its extreme power, adopting the CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic brakes derived from LMDh race technology. The 3D-structured discs, made with long carbon fibers in a carbon matrix and treated with a project-specific coating, extend service life while enhancing friction and stability. Combined with optimized aerothermal airflow to discs and calipers, the system ensures unmatched durability, cooling, and response—delivering racing-level braking consistency on the road.
For dynamics, the Fenomeno employs manually adjustable racing shocks, allowing drivers to fine-tune setup for track or road use. These advanced dampers improve precision by controlling body movement, optimizing wheel-to-shock travel, and ensuring maximum effectiveness of the suspension kinematics. The result is exceptional stability, responsiveness, and driving enjoyment, perfectly aligning the Fenomeno’s handling with its unprecedented performance.
Vehicle dynamics
The Fenomeno introduces Lamborghini’s first use of a 6D sensor, forming the core of its advanced dynamic control system. Positioned near the car’s center of gravity and linked to the Integrated Power Brake (IPB) unit, the sensor measures real-time acceleration across three axes (lateral, longitudinal, vertical) as well as angular velocity (pitch, roll, yaw). This data enables precise calculation of speed, side-slip angle, and tire-road friction, allowing the car to respond instantly and accurately to any driving condition.
Working with the Integrated Vehicle Estimator (IVE), which uses Kalman filtering for predictive modeling, the 6D sensor enhances control and adaptability across all systems. It supports the Integrated Brake Controller (IBC), which reduces braking distances by up to 10% and improves stability during cornering or track conditions like curb impacts. By constantly predicting and adjusting dynamics, the Fenomeno delivers unprecedented precision, safety, and performance, ensuring drivers experience absolute control at all times.
Tyres
Bridgestone is the exclusive tire partner for the Fenomeno, equipping it with bespoke Potenza Sport ultra-high-performance tires designed to handle the 1,080 CV powertrain. Sized 265/30 ZRF21 at the front and 355/25 ZRF22 at the rear, these custom-engineered tires deliver outstanding high-speed performance, steering precision, and control. They are also available with Run Flat Technology (RFT), allowing the car to continue safely for 80 km at 80 km/h even after a puncture.
For track enthusiasts, Lamborghini will also offer semi-slick Bridgestone tires, fully road-homologated yet optimized for maximum grip and circuit-level performance, available in 20- and 21-inch fitments. Both options were developed using Bridgestone’s Virtual Tyre Development technology, which reduces raw material use and emissions, aligning extreme performance with sustainability.
