Ferrari officially launched its Spider deritive of the highly desirable Ferrari F430 in Kuala Lumpur on the 29th on July. The Spider drop-top version, like all its predecessor lineups, has become an integral part of the Ferrari silhouette, and is much sought after.
Set amidst an array of fancy foods, wines, song and guests, Jean Todd, from Ferrari's Formula One wing, gave a pre-recorded speech about Ferrari's new gem. The unveiling proceeded after and an elaborate dinner buffet mellowed the guests till late.
The day after, a track day was held. About 80 prancing horses arrived, young and old. Ferrari imported their Pilota race drivers to give the Ferrari owners hands-on advise and experience around the track. After the track briefing and buffet lunch, a group photo shoot was organized.
The group later proceeded back into the pits while the speed fanatics began their song. By the flock, the pit straights were filled with howling tunes and Rosso Reds swooshing-by. There were trophies for fastest laps and the receivers drove an array of different ‘Horses’.
Till late afternoon the track day ended with minimal incidences and plenty of smiles. It was fun for the whole family and everyone escaped the week long work stress with a satisfying day at the track; to relax a day before the next working week.
