The consigning owner acquired this SL55 in 2019, becoming only its second registered owner. Seldom driven by the first proprietor, this car had only 17k kms on the clock then yet all major work been done and refreshed with new components e.g. folding roof mechanism(all hydraulic joints replaced with warranty), a reputable Mercedes specialist was then commissioned to look at every part of the vehicle and made replacements for all four ABC suspension joints with remanufactured Arnott shocks and valve body, original remanufactured ABS brake pump module as well engine pulleys all the way to the meticulous supercharger oil Mobil Jet Fuel specific.
Every facet of the vehicle was gone through, with worn components either being refurbished or replaced and no expense spared for this childhood ream such as brake discs and pads, engine and subframe mountings being replaced. To finish, the exterior was repainted with Glasurit paint in original Tanzanite Blue Metallic, with a matching interior retrimmed in Mercedes OEM leather and working massage seats functions. A document outlining the work completed and records is available for inspection by the new owner.
Restored with an obsessive eye for detail and presenting beautifully on its original colours (both interior and exterior) scheme, this rare SL55 AMG would take centrestage in any serious Mercedes-AMG collection.
