Porsche unveils the new 911 Turbo S at IAA Mobility in Munich. Its twin-turbo T-Hybrid powertrain makes it the most powerful production 911 ever.

Building on its predecessor’s benchmark status, the new 911 Turbo S raises standards in performance, comfort, design, aerodynamics, chassis, and exclusivity. Offered as both coupé and cabriolet, it delivers more power and refinement across the board.

INNOVATIVE TWIN-TURBO T-HYBRID POWERTRAIN
The new 911 Turbo S delivers 523 kW (711 PS) and 800 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful production 911 yet. Thanks to lightweight T-Hybrid tech with a 400 V system, it gains 61 PS over its predecessor and maintains peak power between 6,500–7,000 rpm.

Building on the 911 Carrera GTS’s T-Hybrid, the Turbo S features two electric exhaust gas turbochargers (eTurbos) for greater performance and responsiveness. A compact 1.9 kWh battery and an eight-speed PDK with integrated electric motor drive the PTM all-wheel system.

Performance improves across the board: 0–100 km/h in 2.5 s, 0–200 km/h in 8.4 s, and a top speed of 322 km/h.

AROUND 14 SECONDS FASTER ON THE NÜRBURGRING NORDSCHLEIFE
Despite the hybrid system, the new 911 Turbo S is only 85 kg heavier than its predecessor, with performance gains easily outweighing the increase. In Nürburgring testing, it achieved 7:03.92 minutes—14 seconds faster than before. “You don't feel the weight gain. On the contrary – the car is much more agile, has more grip and is significantly faster than its predecessor in all relevant sections of the track,” says Porsche Brand Ambassador Jörg Bergmeister.

BRAKES AND TYRES WITH OPTIMISED PERFORMANCE
dry handling while maintaining wet grip, with wider 325/30 ZR 21 tyres on the rear and 255/35 ZR 20 on the front. The standard Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system features new pads, larger discs (410 mm rear, 420 mm front), and delivers better performance and pedal feel. It’s the largest PCCB system ever fitted to a Porsche two-door.

INTELLIGENT ACTIVE AERODYNAMICS
The new 911 Turbo S features enhanced aerodynamics for better cooling and efficiency. Active front air flaps, a front diffuser, adjustable spoiler lip, and an extendable rear wing work as a system to optimise airflow, reduce lift or drag as needed, and direct cooling air to brakes and radiators. The Coupé’s drag coefficient is 10% lower than its predecessor, while wet mode improves braking by shielding front discs from spray.

CHASSIS FOR IMPROVED AGILITY AND STABILITY
The T-Hybrid system enables Porsche to equip the 911 Turbo S with electro-hydraulic Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (ehPDCC) as standard. Using active coupling rods, it minimizes body roll, boosts agility, and enhances both comfort and stability, making the car more predictable and responsive. An optional front-axle lift, now quicker via the 400 V system, improves daily usability.

A new titanium sports exhaust, 6.8 kg lighter, delivers a sound composed specifically for the Turbo S. Internal engine tweaks and asymmetrical timing give the 3.6-litre boxer a more distinctive, throaty character.

EXCLUSIVE LOOK AND HIGH-QUALITY EQUIPMENT
The new 911 Turbo S debuts Porsche’s cross-series Turbo design strategy, with exclusive Turbonite accents on the crest, lettering, rear wing inserts, window strips, and wheels. Wider bodywork, new rear fascia openings, and titanium exhaust tailpipes emphasise its distinctive stance, while optional oval trims add further exclusivity.

Inside, Turbonite extends to stitching, trim, belts, and controls, complemented by carbon-structured strips, neodyme details, and a perforated microfiber headliner. The coupé is a two-seater by default, with optional rear seats; the cabriolet comes in 2+2 layout.

Standard equipment includes HD Matrix LED headlights, Sport Chrono Package with tyre temperature gauge, tuned PASM suspension, PDCC roll support, titanium exhaust, and Adaptive 18-way Sports Seats Plus with “turbo S” embossing. Optional GT3-style lightweight bucket seats are available for the coupé.

WIDE RANGE OF OPTIONS
The Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur range offers extensive customisation for the 911 Turbo S. Options include over 100 Paint to Sample colours, Turbo Exclusive Design wheels with Neodyme carbon blades, a visible carbon roof, carbon rear lights and air intakes, and new lightweight carbon wiper arms—50% lighter than standard. Interior upgrades span contrasting stitching, personalised embossing, leather seat consoles and sill panels, and painted vehicle keys.

THE 911 TURBO S FOR THE WRIST
Through the Porsche Design Timepieces Configurator, customers can create a bespoke “sports car for the wrist” to match their 911 Turbo S. A new black dial with Turbonite accents reflects the car’s design, with all exterior colours—including Paint to Sample—available for the dial ring.

The chronograph features a titanium case with black carbide coating, a strap in Porsche interior leather with Turbo S hot stamping, and is powered by the COSC-certified WERK 01.200 caliber with flyback function. The custom rotor mirrors 911 Turbo S wheel designs with a Turbonite crest, while the case back allows personal engraving. Each Chronograph 911 Turbo S is handmade to order in Switzerland.
