Congratulations to Porsche for securing their 18th overall win at Le Mans 2016. What an unbelievable finish that was.

Against the two mighty Toyotas who lead for the majority of the race till the last THREE MINUTES of the 24 hours race, the sole remaining Porsche 919 was staring at a grim 2nd or 3rd position finish. But as luck would play out, the leading Toyota crossed the finish line, one lap short of completing 24 hours and stopped dead in it's tracks. Porsche eventually overtook the Toyota at the line to commence its final lap. The Toyota restarted but stalled again moments later.
Porsche, like clockwork, crossed the finish line at full race duration securing them their 2nd consecutive win at Le Mans. What an ending. No Hollywood producer could have scripted.
Utmost respect goes out to Team Toyota. They were amazing. Their machines were hungry for the win right from the first hour and they performed flawlessly. It was such a close race that only 2 minutes separated the top 3 Cars for the entire 24 hours. If it wasn't for car no.2 spinning and car no.1 stalling, Porsche could have been handed one of the worst upsets in their endurance racing career.
It will be very interesting how Toyota bounces back next year. If you guys did not catch the race live, go Youtube it!
