2025 Honda Civic Si Heats Up Summer with More Aggressive Styling, Leading-Edge Technology, Improved Dynamics and New Heated Front Seats

July 23, 2024 — TORRANCE, Calif. Honda will unleash the best-equipped and most fun-to-drive Civic Si ever this summer, as the brand continues to offer young driving enthusiasts more affordable high-performance. The refreshed 2025 Civic Si brings an aggressive new front design, improved dynamics and a host of new standard features, including heated front seats and Google built-in.

Honda leads manual transmission sales in the U.S. this year, with the Civic being the top-selling manual vehicle. The 2025 Civic Si, exclusively available with a manual transmission, will be on sale in early August starting at $29,950 (excluding $1,095 destination charge). Optional high-performance summer tires cost an additional $300.

Civic, the longest-running Honda nameplate, has sold over 12 million units in the U.S. since 1973, making it one of the top three best-selling passenger cars in the past 51 years. Introduced in 1986, the Civic Si has been a high-performance icon. The 11th-generation Civic is a popular choice for Gen Z, first-time buyers, and multicultural customers, serving as a gateway to the Honda brand.

More Fun-to-Drive
The turbocharged Civic Si excels in its class with an excellent power-to-weight ratio, lively handling, and a fun-to-drive feel, all while being comfortable for daily driving. The refresh improves its legendary dynamics and ride comfort with enhanced body structure and suspension.

The new SICE-compliant body makes it the most rigid Civic Si ever, with increased torsional and bending rigidity. Retuned suspension dampers match this stiffness, and sticky summer tires are now a factory option for maximum performance.

The enhanced rev-matching system now includes downshifts from 2nd to 1st gear, with a quick 430 ms response time. The precise short-throw 6-speed manual transmission and light single-mass flywheel ensure a snappy throttle response from the 200-horsepower, 192 lb.-ft. torque VTEC® 1.5-liter Turbo engine, routed through a helical limited-slip differential.

Standard features include larger brakes, 235/40R18 all-season performance tires, and optional summer tires. The Drive Mode system offers Normal, Sport, and customizable Individual modes. Sport mode enhances throttle response, reduces steering assist, deactivates idle stop, and changes instrument lighting to red.

Exhilarating Design
The refreshed 2025 Honda Civic Si boasts a more aggressive front fascia, a new hex-pattern grille, and darker taillights. Redesigned Si-specific 18-inch matte black V-spoke alloy wheels enhance its sporty look.

Standard features include LED headlights and taillights, and sporty gloss black trim on the mirrors and window surrounds. Unique aerodynamic aids, such as a hidden front spoiler and a gloss black rear spoiler, improve performance and high-speed stability.

The 2025 Civic Si introduces the popular Urban Gray Pearl color, available for the first time on this model.

More Intuitive Tech
Intuitive technology in the 2025 Civic Si focuses on driver engagement, making it the most technologically advanced Si yet. It features a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto™, Google built-in, and new front USB-C ports, all standard. A new LED shift indicator light supports performance driving.

For added comfort, the exclusive body-stabilizing sport seats are now heated, with built-in head restraints and prominent side supports. The 3-level front seat heater buttons and high-quality climate control knobs are conveniently placed.

The Si cabin features sport pedals, red contrast stitching, and red accents on the metal honeycomb dash trim and front seatback "Si" logos. Standard equipment includes a moonroof and a 12-speaker Bose premium sound system with Bose Centerpoint 2 technology and SurroundStage digital signal processing, the best audio system in its class.

Civic Si Gets Google built-In
The 2025 Civic Si features Google built-in, including Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play apps, with a complimentary 3-year unlimited data plan.

With Google Assistant, users can make calls, send texts, set reminders, change the car’s temperature, and navigate using voice commands. Directions set in Google Maps are displayed in the instrument cluster.

Drivers can control media and download third-party apps for music, podcasts, and audiobooks from Google Play, just like on a smartphone.

Enhanced Honda Sensing®
The 2025 Civic Si comes standard with the Honda Sensing® suite, enhancing safety with improved visibility for motorcycles and bicycles in the Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™) with Pedestrian Detection, and smoother Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS). Standard features include Forward Collision Warning, Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) with Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and a blind spot information system with Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

Every Civic features the Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure and advanced restraint systems, including front airbags designed to minimize brain trauma in angled collisions, front seatbelt pretensioners, and side, driver and front-passenger knee, and side-curtain airbags.

Manufacturing
First introduced in 1986, the Honda Civic Si has been built in North America for nearly two decades and that legacy continues with the 2025 model, which is produced* exclusively at the Honda auto plant in Alliston, Ontario, Canada. The performance sedan’s turbocharged engine is produced exclusively at the Honda engine plant in Anna, Ohio.

Honda has produced more than 11 million Civics in North America, including more than five million in the United States, accounting for more than a quarter of Honda’s vehicle production in the region since the company began making cars in America in 1982.
